Hanover (ots) – Hanover public prosecutors and police are searching for 22-year-old Sefin Nahmann Pesso using a photo. He is strongly suspected of having shot a 21-year-old at a wedding celebration on Alter Flughafen Street in the Vahrenheide district of Hanover on Sunday, March 13, 2016, around 10:20 p.m.

According to previous findings, the young woman was shot during the celebration as a guest of the Kurdish wedding party. There was then a physical altercation between several people, in which other guests were injured. An ambulance took the young woman to a clinic, where she succumbed to her serious injuries during the night (we reported).

As part of extensive interrogations and further investigations, the 22-year-old came into the focus of the criminal police. At the request of the Hanover public prosecutor's office, a judge has now issued an arrest warrant against the young man for murder - he is still a fugitive.

The authorities are now searching for the suspect using a photo. The person we are looking for is 1.60 to 1.65 meters tall and slim. He could be driving a black VW Golf IV with the registration number H-AN 8606.
