Essen - Frohnhausen - In the late evening hours of yesterday (October 14th, 10:28 p.m.) the police became aware of a seriously injured male person on Hausackerstrasse.
In addition to a 23-year-old from Essen who had life-threatening injuries, the police were able to find several people (men and women between the ages of 20 and 60) at the scene. All people were under the significant influence of alcoholic beverages.
According to initial findings, a verbal argument broke out between several people, which later escalated into a physical altercation. During the altercation, the 23-year-old suffered stab wounds. He was taken to a nearby hospital by ambulance and his life is in danger. The exact background to the dispute is still unclear. Suspects are currently being questioned and the investigation is ongoing.
