October 8, 2014: A video that we reported on in March 2014 is making the rounds again!

The difference: In the new version there is no “share” begging, nor is there any request for likes.

In this case, the status text is a quite long, emotional text that appeals to humanity.

Dear people,

The day you realize that I'm getting old, try to
be patient with me and try to understand me.

If I get dirty while eating...
If I dress differently...
Be patient, remember how much time I spent
teaching you these things when you were little...
If I tell you the same things dozens of times,
interrupt not me !
Listen to me.

When you were little, you constantly asked me
to read you the same story, night after night,
until you fell asleep, and I was happy to do it.

(…)

In the current case, we are not dealing with a page that wants to generate likes/shares, but rather the message and appeal has moved more to the fore.

The video now serves more as a visual illustration of the appeal, and anyone who has had close contact with people with dementia will definitely recognize many of the sentences.

The inquiries that have now arisen about the video are also aimed more at the questions that arose in the comments (status reporting is basically unproblematic).

Hardly anyone refers to the appeal to humanity; again, the question of “who” and “where” is pushed to the foreground, and the call for a complaint is loudened several times. We can clarify this and say that a report has already been made.

Our research:

Our research revealed that this incident occurred in January 2012 at a care center in San Remo, Italy . The center's surveillance cameras recorded this incident. 42 people were victims of this abuse, which lasted for months. All people were over 60 years old and some were physically disabled or had Alzheimer's.

In total, four social workers, two nurses and the wife of a senator from the PDL, Berlusconi's party, were arrested following the investigation.

What was March 2014 about?

For days (March 22, 2014) we have been receiving inquiries from Facebook users about a video that was published on Facebook. A site we know that already has the video with it burning dog also published this video.

His status post says:

Stunned...just sad something like that
"If you don't have goodness, you have nothing good." (Muslim)
PLEASE NO LIKES JUST SHARE
MY HEART IS BLEEDING!!!!

The status post looks like this:

As with his other status post (video + dog), he writes again:

PLEASE NO LIKES JUST SHARE
MY HEART IS BLEEDING :'(

What is he writing?

Not likes, but should you share? And “My heart bleeds”

We all know that such terrible facts exist, but you don't have to use Facebook to post an animal's suffering to get LIKES

A fake?

Users are asking us to confirm that this is a fake because the cruelty of the video can no longer be surpassed.

NO , unfortunately this video is NOT FAKE .

Such videos are 99.9% NEVER FAKES, but are repeatedly misused by site operators to generate “LIKES” for their site and it is also clear that the comments will be accordingly like “Death penalty for nurses” or “I will “As a trained nursing professional, I’m really pissed off. I shouldn’t catch a colleague doing this and immediately shut them down.”

You can understand the anger of the users. But if you have to publish a video like this, then you should also research carefully and explain to your users what actually happened. With a

PLEASE NO LIKES JUST SHARE
MY HEART IS BLEEDING :'(

nobody gets anything out of it. BUT! The operator gets CLICKS and LIKES and is happy about it.
