Warning about call center scammers!

On November 3rd, 2020, fraudsters tried to trick older people again without success. But those called see through the scam, hang up and report to the police.

"Do not you know me?"

“Don’t you know me?” in one case, the unknown grandtrick caller asks the 73-year-old woman from Worms after a brief greeting when she picks up her phone at 10 a.m.

Another attempt to make a 71-year-old believe that her grandson was on the phone also failed. Before the fraudster can give any further explanations about the alleged traffic accident in which he was involved, the lady hangs up.

Shortly after 1 p.m., a 64-year-old from Worms was told a shocking story. His daughter was involved in a serious traffic accident in which people were killed. The daughter, a police officer and a senior public prosecutor demanded bail for their release totaling 78,000 euros from his victim. They finally agreed on a sum. At the same time, the real daughter happens to get in touch via text message, which is why the attempted fraud is exposed.
