A PRIVATE WANTED CALL on Facebook sends the community into a frenzy.

That status has already been shared almost 8,000 times and provoked wild insults in the comments:

The status contribution in the wording:

“Be careful of this man, his name is Enrico ***. He preys on women who are pregnant and have small children. He has a criminal record for sexually harassing his brother. His other accounts are enrico ***, Egon ***, Hans ***, Daniel ***, leif *** ricardo *** Attention, this is one and the same. PLEASE KEEP SHARE. So that he can get the job done here on Facebook. Thank you.”

Right at the beginning:

The status post published on Facebook is a PRIVATE WANTED CALL!

This can be a criminal offense for both the creator and all people who share the post!

See “ Private wanted calls on Facebook. Why these can be punishable! “ as well as the article by the GGR lawyers “ Private search calls on Facebook and on the Internet “.

The background:

A demonstration “Against child molesters and violence against women” was originally planned for November 8, 2014 in Prenzlau, which was apparently planned and registered by Mr. Pridöhl.

Shortly afterwards it was claimed that the gentleman wanted to turn this demo into an NPD event, whereupon there was quite a protest and the event was canceled.

Since then, a person who apparently belongs to the “Antifa” movement has made and spread these claims in various status posts.

Even though the Uckermark police station denies that Mr. Pridöhl is “right-wing,” Jener allegedly admitted this to the Prenzlauer Zeitung, but emphasized that this had nothing to do with the planned demonstration.

We cannot confirm or deny that the photo in the post is of Mr. Pridöhl or that the claims in the post are true. We cannot and do not want to go into detail about the political attitudes of those involved.

However, publicly asserting and spreading unproven claims against an individual on Facebook can be dangerous.

Even if these allegations turn out to be true, this is still a private, criminally relevant search call.

We therefore ask our readers not to share status posts like those shown in the screenshot.

Think first, then share!
