Caution! Fraudsters pose as health insurance employees and ask for a bonus payment!

Fraudsters in Germany have been calling 01521 1603471 . The callers claim to be from the health insurance association and want to know whether the person called has already received their bonus payment from the health insurance company.

But be careful! This is a scam! (see also Clever Dialer )

The callers often try to entice the customer to switch to a cash register by resorting to tricks or want to access the customer's data . If you are suggested an appointment for a data comparison, hang up immediately!

ping call is also popular . Here, the fraudsters have any landline or mobile numbers from phone number lists automatically called or work their way through data collections from hacked websites. The phone only rings once or for a maximum of a few seconds, then hangs up.

The fraudsters want to force a callback. If you call back, you have to pay at least three euros per minute. The Federal Network Agency advises consumers not to call back telephone numbers if no call is expected from the relevant countries!
