Note: This is not an official “ACTION” competition. Ignore such competitions and inform your friends if they shared or commented.

“Action” itself now speaks out on its website and writes:

Unfortunately, our customers are increasingly the target of so-called phishing and spam campaigns. Phishing is a form of internet fraud. Spam is unsolicited and unwanted emails. The victim receives an email with a link to a fraudulent website. This website appears to be from Action and aims to obtain and misuse personal information such as your password, email address, phone numbers or address or introduce a virus into your computer. We are increasingly seeing promotions on Facebook, via SMS and via WhatsApp, where Action gift vouchers of 100, 250 or 500 euros are offered. Do not participate as these are fake promotions and therefore fraud.

How can you report phishing to us?

Have you received an email that looks like it's from Action but has content you don't trust? report this to us via email to [email protected]

We can use your information to inform other customers if they have received a fraudulent email.

Have you shared your information?

If you accidentally responded to a phishing email, it's important to take action. The following points should be considered:

  • Report to the police.
  • Report to a scammer helpdesk.
  • Have you entered a password? Then change this as quickly as possible.
  • Have you entered bank or credit card details?
