Anonymous employee unpacks at unzensuriert.at. Asylum seekers are given priority in operations, Austrians are given priority.

As the Internet platform unzensuriert.at, which is widely known for its neutrality, reports, information was leaked to it by an employee of the Vienna General Hospital who wishes to remain anonymous. Everyone would remain silent for fear of reprisals, but she no longer wanted to remain silent and therefore went public.

Entire extended families would show up in the intensive care units and refuse to leave, even though only one visitor per patient was allowed. In addition, the patients, most of whom have a migration background, would insult the staff.

Unzensuriert.at tried to get a statement from the AKH, but received no response to the request from August 30, 2016.

AKH refuses to comment

The AKH would have been given sufficient opportunity to respond to these allegations. However, an email request from us from August 30th has remained unanswered to date. The journalistic duty of care is therefore satisfied.

We asked the AKH and received an answer without any major

There will be no further statements from the AKH because it is simply a false report and there was never any preference for any group of people. It is significant that the author would not identify himself, which is what any serious journalist would do. The AKH continues to assume that a reaction would not have the desired effect, which is why they have decided not to react.

We'll leave it open whether it wouldn't have been better for the AKH to publish a corresponding statement, but if you ask directly, you'll get a direct answer. What is clear from the answer:

There was never any favoritism

As expected, the article on uncensored is a hoax.

“heimatohnhass.com” also experienced something similar!

The “Heimat ohne Hass” initiative also published something on this topic and had the same experience as us:

Sent this morning - and less than five hours later we have an answer from the AKH!!
