Marksuhl - Wartburgkreis - On October 11th, 2017, around 11 p.m., a 35-year-old man attacked a 63-year-old man with a knife in the courtyard of an apartment building on Obereller Strasse.
Both men had previously gotten into an argument while drunk. The 63-year-old hit the later knife attacker with his fist and injured him. The 35-year-old then tried to stab the thug with a 15 centimeter long knife. Another man present snatched the knife out of his hand.
The attacker went back to his apartment and came back into the yard with a 30 centimeter long bread knife and tried to stab again. The 63-year-old fended off the attack without being injured. The police were deployed with several officers to spatially separate the men.
