With the description “Bundesdrogen.gif”, the ZDF aktuell show published a short video on March 14, 2016, which shows a scene in the Bundestag and was satirically portrayed as a “drug deal”. However, this excerpt has been interpreted differently.

The trigger was this short scene, which we estimate to be July 2015 based on the overlay. This is a broadcast from the “Phoenix” station from the Bundestag:

This display can be seen as a response to the discovery of drugs by the GREEN politician Volker Beck (see SPIEGEL ).

Satire or serious?

What was presented by today's show with a wink became the accusation here from the ZDF satire (sic):

Claudia Roth covers bags with unknown contents. We don't know what was being exchanged so secretly, but it looks very suspicious. Ms. Roth, why are you hiding it???And to the police officers in Berlin: Do a quick wipe test.

Since it is not possible to see exactly what is printed on the packaging of the small bag from the television broadcast, there is of course no evidence from a technical point of view. Both sides, because neither the allegations can be proven (not even through comparisons to other politicians), nor the counterstatement. Technically speaking.
