A screenshot is currently being distributed on Facebook that makes it appear that in Magdeburg, due to the refugees, women should no longer leave the house from 8 p.m.
There is already a revision to the original post; it has already been deleted by its author and publicly corrected. However, it is still circulating on Facebook as a screenshot. This is about the following message, which is distributed as a “double status”:

First you read the following message as a commenting status message:
“Hi people…..
now the German population is being restricted in their everyday life!
Instead of eliminating the causes of the danger, the German should now hide... I'M NOT hiding out! I take on criminals!”
The reason for this statement is a status report from “Neighborhood Aid Magdeburg Neue Neustadt”, which has now been deleted:
“Yesterday evening the police drove through Magdeburg Neue Neustadt with loudspeaker announcements.
With the announcement. That women should no longer go out on the streets alone after 8 p.m. I know what comes next.

However, many users are now becoming suspicious when they read such unconfirmed reports on Facebook. At least one user asked the police directly about the truth of that statement, whereupon “Neighborhood Aid Magdeburg” deleted the status again and gave the following explanation in a comment:
“Good evening... I deleted the post yesterday because there were discrepancies.
We asked the police and they said that wasn't true. I just found out that there was an attack in Rewe Victor Jara Street by two masked people who fled. As a result, loudspeaker announcements were made that people should go home for safety.
So the report was half correct.

So the screenshot shown at the beginning is a false report !
On behalf of the police, we also ask that you delete that screenshot and not distribute it further. We cannot yet confirm whether there was actually an attack on a Rewe store, as stated in the comment.
Vigilantism
You should also be skeptical about any kind of vigilantism and calls for it. This is definitely an illegal statement that should not be distributed on Facebook.
