Rangendingen – A homeowner fell victim to a dubious tar crew and paid dearly for asphalt work.

At the end of April, a tar crew tarred the yard following prior agreement from a 68-year-old homeowner. For the approximately hour-long work, the three construction workers demanded an exorbitant fee of several thousand euros, which was immediately paid in cash by the homeowner.

The convoy was obviously traveling with two vehicles registered in Great Britain. The tarring work carried out was carried out inadequately and in no way corresponds to professional execution.

In this context, the police once again point out the scam:

Craft work should be awarded to well-known, local companies based on appropriate offers. Then professional workmanship can be expected and warranty claims can be enforced.
