After a dead baby was found in a used clothing container in Lehr-Wendhausen on September 13th (we reported), the Wolfsburg police special commission is asking for information about the special towel used to wrap the newborn child. This seized cloth is probably a promotional gift from a former company from Baden-Württemberg that also sold office furniture, according to an official.
The blue towel is embroidered with the inscription overtoom.de. Therefore the investigators ask:
- Who has already seen such a towel with the label overtoom.de and can provide information about the distribution?
- Who knows people who have owned a towel like this?

The newborn boy's body was discovered this Tuesday morning by an employee of a waste disposal company as he was about to empty the container. The baby's autopsy ended with inconclusive results, so further test results are still pending.
