The police warn against false prosecutors!

At the beginning of the week, an alleged public prosecutor from Cologne deprived a 52-year-old from the municipality of his money. The unknown man called the man and tricked his victim into believing that there was a complaint against him because he had not paid fees for taking part in a competition.

The costs incurred would now amount to over 2,400 euros. The caller offered the 52-year-old to settle out of court. He should therefore call the lottery agency's alleged lawyer.

The 52-year-old agreed with the supposed lawyer to pay almost 2,000 euros. He transferred the money. When the injured party wanted to call the public prosecutor in Cologne, it turned out that he didn't even exist there. The 52-year-old had fallen victim to a fraudster.
