A Facebook post implied that we were seeing a large Corona demo in Graz, but the march had a different reason.

A Croatian Facebook user apparently shares a video of a large demonstration in Graz and points out that there will also be a demonstration against the Corona measures
in Vienna Thanks to the automatic Facebook translation, many German-speaking users also share the video, but the dream of a huge Corona demo will probably only come true if they are all football fans...

Here is a screenshot of the post:

This is not a demo in Graz
This is not a demo in Graz

The descriptive text in the post reads:

Graz, Austria and 20 11 is a big protest in Vienna Feel free to share!”

And shared it becomes powerful! Even as I write this article, the number of shares has increased from 83,866 times in the screenshot to almost 85,000 times.

Yes, in Graz – but no Corona demonstrators!

It should actually make you suspicious that the supposed demonstrators are all wearing almost the same thing and are apparently shouting football chants, but these inconspicuous details seem to have somehow escaped those who shared the video.

These are fans of the Borussia Mönchengladbach football club who previously took part in the fan march at the club's Europa League game against Wolfsberger AC in the Graz Merkur Arena.

Here is an official video of it - the same video that is now being shared as an alleged Corona demonstration:

Conclusion

There was actually a demonstration against the Corona measures with 4,000 participants , but the video shows over 6,000 Gladbach fans at a fan march through Graz in 2019.
