“Nostalgia in dark times” – this is the motto that BRAVO uses to make difficult times a little nicer, with free downloads of numerous BRAVO issues.

BRAVO opens its archive

The first issue from every year from 1956 to 1994 is available in its entirety and free of charge as a download.
There is also a star cut.

Dr. Summer, photo love stories and star cuts... well, who guessed? Exactly! It's about BRAVO! The largest youth magazine in German-speaking countries has come up with a special treat for all nostalgia fans: “Nostalgia in Dark Times”.

This is the name of the new project, which gives us access to numerous issues of BRAVO. Due to the measures taken in the context of the coronavirus pandemic, which affects us all to a greater or lesser extent, the Pop Magazine team decided to open its archive in times of social distance:

Dear BRAVO fans,

The big topic at the moment is the Corona crisis. You should avoid social contacts as much as possible, events are not taking place and planned vacations must also be cancelled. We asked ourselves how we at the bravo archive can make a small contribution to making these difficult times a little nicer. That's why we're making our BRAVO editions available to you here free of charge. And so that every generation can benefit from it, there is one issue from each year. From 1956 to 1994 (because we only digitized until this year) you will find the first edition here in its entirety and completely free of charge as a download. There's also a BRAVO star cut. So get out the scissors and glue sticks and start crafting!

We firmly believe that you can make any time a little more bearable with beautiful memories and nostalgia.

Hopefully this crisis will be over as quickly as possible.

Kind regards,
your team from the bravo archive!

So if you want to take a little trip into the past and perhaps really reminisce about your youth, you can organize the downloads here . The issues can be downloaded as a PDF file and come complete with posters.

Spoiler alert: Steven Spielberg fans will be particularly happy about the star cut. It is the cult character ET from the Oscar-winning film of the same name “ET – the Extra-Terrestrial”.
