Under the hashtag #Verafake, Neo Magazine Royale presents a video in which the filming and the portrayal of the candidates on the show “Daughter-in-Law Wanted” are presented in a special way: Böhmermann and his team put two cuckoo eggs in the nest!

The candidate “Robin” and his alleged father were fakes and were smuggled in to look behind the scenes of the production. The design was completely over-the-top beforehand.

Robin: “I have a lot of love to give away”

Robin is a lonely railway friend

Robin is a candidate for “Daughter-in-Law Wanted” 2016. The 21-year-old is still completely inexperienced in love. With the help of Vera Int-Veen, he hopes to finally change that.

Yesterday evening, May 12, 2016, the Neo Mgazin Royal dropped their masks and revealed what they had always suspected up until now: the characters are exaggerated and additionally scripted by the production. Here is the #Verafake video in its entirety:

Neo Magazine Royale describes this video:

Vera Int-Veen has been looking for true love for RTL for 10 years now*! Of course, we whiny ratings losers don't give up and have prepared a gift for the dubious television matchmakers that they will never forget. So, dear RTL, dear Vera and of course dear Asian tourists armed with the remote control on the sofa at home, here it is. From Neo With Love!

Voices from Twitter

This video with Böhmermann is already being hotly debated on Twitter, even RTL tweeted about it:

The media landscape, meanwhile, is celebrating Böhmermann's latest video

Fernsehenkritk-TV, which has been critically examining various RTL productions for years, also applauds.

How will it go on?

The question now is: which straw dolls will follow in the future? Will other formats, such as casting shows, also come under scrutiny?

How will RTL behave? Is there a breach of contract on the part of Neo Magazin Royal? Is a contract even valid under these circumstances?
