I'm a police officer.
Police officer at a normal police station in Lower Austria, systemized to 15 officers. Due to official confidentiality, I have to remain anonymous, otherwise I would face reprisals and even suspension.
But I think Austria, or rather you taxpayers, have a right to the truth.

The fact is:

In Lower Austria alone we have around 200 arrests of illegal immigrants almost every day.
Nationwide, there are 600 people applying for asylum every day. According to the BMI forecast, around 70,000 refugees are expected in Austria in 2015. You have to imagine it, 70,000!!!! To give you a better idea, St. Pölten has just over 50,000 inhabitants. And that's not enough.
Almost all of the asylum seekers we pick up are younger than 25 years old. In the initial survey, all of them said that they had once come to Europe alone to get an idea of ​​the living conditions. If they like it, they will bring their families and children with them at some point, if the asylum decision is positive. 80 percent of asylum seekers have no professional training, some of them cannot read or write and only sign their interviews with a fingerprint.
So how are we ever supposed to integrate them into the world of work if they receive a positive asylum decision? It does not work!! We pay them for life. Aja paid. Did you know that each asylum seeker costs us around 300 euros per day? Don't think so.

About normal everyday work at my police station:
Every day we wait on the radio until it says again: 10 asylum seekers here and there, 20 asylum seekers there, etc... per asylum seeker this means an administrative effort of approx. 2 hours until they are brought to Traiskirchen.
Incomprehensible. We have had to send away “normal” parties who report burglary, fraud or very banal property damage for two months now because there is simply no time or no free PC.
Accordingly, there is clearly frustration among both the population and us officials. No, no, no. During our inspection alone we had to process 130 asylum seekers in the last 6 weeks.
I don't even want to go into detail about the hygienic conditions. There is no longer any time for investigations after burglaries etc., there is de facto no more clearance rate. All of this is being kept secret from you by politicians.

And now to politics:

Did you know that there are countries within the EU that are treaty exempt from accepting refugees?
Certainly not. This includes Great Britain, Ireland, all Baltic countries, parts of Scandinavia and even Poland. Italy is overwhelmed anyway, France has now also closed down, as has Hungary and that's it.
Actually, only Germany and we are taking in refugees, the rest have recognized the signs of the times and closed down.
And what do we do... instead of getting used to the idea of ​​finally controlling the borders again and saying we can't do it anymore, the boat is full, we look for additional accommodation in all of Austria's municipalities and argue about the quota. What do you do when the quota is fulfilled, and it will happen in the foreseeable future? What after? The flow of refugees has only just begun, dear politicians...

The boat is long full, so we pull the gangway back and back to the good old border controls.

You may be wondering why you never read about this in the media.
Very easy.
Because at least in Lower Austria, our country father, the godlike Erwin Pröll, has given instructions to all media never to publish reports about asylum seekers being apprehended, so that the population can feel safe, because everything is oh so great and safe in our country. I consulted with the Crown myself and they confirmed this to me. That is, our sovereign must have such power so that he can even cover up these grievances. Media reports only appear when a smuggler is occasionally caught. This then gets blown out of proportion. But don't worry, these smugglers that we catch are very small henchmen, mostly unemployed, who are hired in Hungary or Slovakia and carry out these trips for 100 to 200 euros. The big ones, I mean the really big ones, are located in Romania and Bulgaria.

And last but not least, let's look into the future:

If this flow of refugees continues unabated, and I assume it will, we will be overrun in 10 years at the latest and Austria will be bankrupt.
But as I said, what is our government doing about it: arguing at the federal, state and local level and the frantic search for new quarters, tent cities and barracks, instead of finally mustering up the courage and saying:

Enough is enough, we have enough…….we have to close our borders again, like in the good old days…..

ATTENTION FAKE!

ATTENTION: Based on people and pages close to the FPÖ, a “description” from a “police officer” on the asylum issue is currently circulating thousands of times on Facebook. This alleged “description” is once again a FAKE that is intended to incite incitement!

FYI: Among other things, the fake claims that “each asylum seeker costs 300 euros per day”. This is sheer nonsense. Anyone who spreads such false claims (as always, without any reference to the source) is up to no good. Accommodation providers receive 19 euros per day for accommodation and meals for asylum seekers. We repeat: 19 EURO per day for the accommodation providers. The asylum seekers themselves receive 40 euros in pocket money PER MONTH. In addition, there is 150 euros in clothing assistance PER YEAR and, if you have children, a maximum of 200 euros in school fees per child and PER YEAR.

The FAKE also claims that in Europe only Germany and Austria accept refugees. That too is nonsense. Yes, there is an imbalance in Europe, but it doesn't just affect Germany and Austria. The wording in the fake description is also revealing. The words “let’s pull back the gangway” can be found one-to-one in a broadcast from FPÖ chairman Strache.

As always, such tall tales say in bold letters that it is “THE TRUTH”. OUR TIP: Where someone claims to represent “THE TRUTH”, pay particular attention and be particularly critical! And if the whole thing is done anonymously and without any reference to the source, even more so. PLEASE SHARE!
