Landau - In the middle of the night, an apartment building on Hermann-Sauter-Straße was hit by a thief.
The unknown person got into an apartment on the ground floor and stole around 15 to 17 new men's and women's shoes from the storage room, worth around 1,500 euros.
The residents were asleep at the time and didn't notice anything. They were only woken up when the apartment door slammed. They then discovered the theft in the morning. How the perpetrator got into the apartment remains a mystery. No signs of break-in were found.
