Several citizens informed us about our service here about current phishing emails in the name and appearance of Disney+ (Disney plus). The perpetrators misuse the streaming provider's logo, among other things. These emails are fake and do not come from Disney or Disney+.

Numerous variants of phishing emails

The various variants currently in circulation claim payment problems, cancellation, blocking, account suspension, etc. The person addressed must act accordingly and click an inserted button.

The underlying websites were no longer (or not yet) accessible at the time of the query. Only an error message appeared. Some browsers have already warned against visiting the websites. Some of the associated domains had also been created just a few days ago.

Various email addresses were used as senders, which do not indicate a real email contact from Disney.
However, it cannot be ruled out that the perpetrators will continue to try or, in several cases, have already been successful.

Typical examples of the news

Link opened and data entered?

If you have already fallen for the phishing email and have entered access or payment details on the fake website, contact the streaming provider immediately for account details and your bank for payment details.
Change your streaming account access details. Check whether further changes have been made to the account (e.g. additional registered devices that you do not know, PIN changes, address changes, etc.).
