Bremen - Wednesday morning (August 2nd) an unknown person stole the license plate of a federal police car at Bremen main station.
His crime was recorded on video.
Apparently the “search pressure” on the perpetrator was too great, so he turned himself in to the federal police just one day later. With the license plate under his arm, the 23-year-old appeared at the guard station at Bremen main station on Thursday morning.
He apologized to the federal police several times for his actions. On a whim, he tore off the license plate and took it with him.

The car was parked in front of the federal police station at Bremen train station.
Apparently out of youthful exuberance, the young man tore off the license plate from the police car around 6:00 a.m. along with the screwed-on license plate holder. He then hid it under his T-shirt and ran away. Unfortunately for the perpetrator: the area is under video surveillance. The relevant video data is currently being evaluated. The first clues about the perpetrator are already available. The federal police are therefore appealing to the thief to report themselves to the police and give the license plate back.
