A search by the SBU secret service did not take place in Klitschko's apartment and has nothing to do with current events.

As events unfold rapidly in Ukraine, old topics are being re-distributed and many are putting them in context with the current situation. But that's not the case - at least not with this video of an alleged search in Vitali Klitschko's apartment.

Search by secret service SBU

Former boxing world champion Vitali Klitschko has been mayor of the Ukrainian capital Kiev since 2014.
In May 2021, employees of the SBU secret service entered the residential complex where Klitschko lives. Searches are said to have been carried out here, but according to the SBU they had nothing to do with Klitschko. The video of this is now being shared again on social media without comment - HERE .

This gives the impression that it could possibly be about current events, which is not the case.
The timestamp at the beginning of the video shows the recording time “05-18-2021 Tue 06:06:01”.

The video is from May 2021

The video can also be found on Facebook in May 2021 – HERE .
Spiegel also reported on the search by the SBU on May 18, 2021.
Klitschko was not in his apartment at the time of the search. At the time, he criticized this and accused the Ukrainian government of “intimidation,” as can be seen in a report dated May 18, 2021:

Conclusion

The video has nothing to do with the current situation in Kiev.
The search took place in May 2021. Klitschko's apartment was also not searched, according to the SBU secret service.
It is now more important than ever to critically question all reports.
