Many people are harassed every day by fraudulent and sometimes aggressive calls. Fraudsters are always using new methods and arguments: supposed banks, fake bailiffs, clips from telephone conversations. Fake phone numbers are used to pretend that calls are coming from within the country.

These scam calls trick many people into making payments based on fictitious arguments. This is done on the one hand through threatening letters that follow the calls, but on the other hand through seemingly plausible arguments or well-crafted mock appearances, for example as a “district court” or “bailiff”.
