Herne - On Tuesday afternoon, a 29-year-old man filed a criminal complaint with the Herne Criminal Police Office:

On the night of September 15th to 16th (Saturday), the Herner man was beaten up and robbed by three previously unknown men on his way home. At around 1 a.m. he was walking towards a discount store on Bochumer Straße.
At that moment, an unknown trio crossed the road from the other side of the street and asked the man from Herner for a cigarette. As he answered the question in the negative and wanted to continue on his way, he suddenly received a blow to the back of the head. This caused him to fall to the ground - where he received another kick in the head and briefly lost consciousness.
An older man wanted to help her and asked if he should call an ambulance. The injured 29-year-old got himself up and went home on his own.

The head injuries were later treated in a hospital, where the young man remained hospitalized for several days.
As it turned out, the suspected men also stole his wallet with cash, ID and debit card.

Description

The three suspects with southern appearance are between 25 and 30 years old, two were around 175 cm tall and the third was ten centimeters taller. The three wore blue jeans and a hooded jacket. What was noticeable about one of them was his tattooed arms.

Investigators are looking for witnesses who can provide information about the incident. In particular, the helpful older man and a witness who found the Herner's ID card are asked to contact the Herner Regional Commissariat (KK 35) on 02323/950-8510 or -4441 (criminal station).
