After the data scandal involving the British company Cambridge Analytica, Facebook wants to inform affected users.

As heise online , ntv and the Frankfurter Neue Presse report, Facebook will inform its users about the possible sharing of their data from Monday, April 9, 2018.

The information should appear at the top of the news feed and be visible in a separate message in all connected apps.

“We will tell anyone whose data may have been affected by Cambridge Analytica,”

said Facebook CEO Sheryl Sandberg in an interview with the Bloomberg on Thursday evening.

In addition, there should be a very easy way to delete these apps .

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg will be questioned about the “Cambridge Analytica” data scandal next week before the US Congress (first the Senate Judiciary Committee and then the House Commerce Committee).
