NAKED IN THE MUSEUM – That’s not possible.
That's why Facebook stopped this picture from our exhibition, which we posted on our page, from running ads. Thank you to Facebook for this tip - we wouldn't have thought on our own that we could hurt the moral feelings of our visitors with masterpieces from the 19th century. However, the art can still be seen uncensored in our exhibition - with works by MONET, MANET, CÉZANNE, GAUGUIN, PISSARRO, RODIN, RENOIR, SISLEY, VAN GOGH and many others.

Facebook refers here to its own advertising conditions, which completely exclude nudity.

But that's art?!?!?!

Didn't Facebook itself say at the time that art would not be banned? In our article “ Why we have to pixelate…. ” we also wrote that Facebook said that the network “regrettably” allows paintings of naked people, but not photos .

Then photos of naked statues seem to be something “really bad”. Or have we missed something?!?!
