Göttingen - One day after his escape, special police forces re-arrested an escaped preventive detainee in Göttingen on Tuesday afternoon (September 12, 2017).
The inmate of the Rosdorf correctional facility (JVA) escaped on Monday afternoon (September 11, 2017) in the Duderstadt area during an accompanied release.
Since then, the police had intensively searched for the 49-year-old man.
The convicted criminal offered no resistance when he was arrested in a residential complex in Hagenweg in Göttingen.
The public search for him was stopped.
