“Goods sent back are actually sometimes resold on pallets. However, not for little money to private customers, as offered on social networks, but in large quantities to companies,” explains Heike Teubner from the consumer advice center in Auerbach.
“If you are a private customer hoping for a great bargain, you should always pay attention to disproportionately cheap offers. No reputable dealer has anything to give away. Therefore, offers on social media should always be viewed with caution,” continued Teubner.
