A fake profile of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson promises hundreds of thousands of dollars multiple times a day if you comment and share the posts.

Dwayne Johnson is known to most people as an action actor.
Many others also know him as WWE wrestler “The Rock”. One can safely assume that he now has a considerable fortune, but does anyone really seriously believe that he can give $2 million to every (!) user who likes and shares a posting? Apparently so.

Almost 3,000 users didn't think any further and shared, shared, shared... "there could be something to it and it won't hurt anyone."

What's the point of this for the fake account?

Money. Lot of money. Such accounts collect followers through actions like these and spread rapidly. In addition, the comments collect many gullible users , where the creators of such pages can be sure that they will also fall for completely different scams.
These sites are then often sold quite profitably on the Darknet, then change their name and description again, delete old postings and photos, and then often post links to phishing sites in order to be able to elicit further data from users, which is then sold for a profit can. This site also appears to have been sold recently, as it has existed since 2010, but the fake has only been posting there for a few days.

If you smeeeeeeeeeeeeeell, how a fake is looking!!!

If anyone still believes in the authenticity of the account, we will give them three little tips.

1. Why would “The Rock” make a new account when he already has a verified Facebook account with a blue check mark?

MIMIKAMA

2. Do you seriously think Dwayne Johnson will give you links to illegal and expensive download portals so you can watch his new film?

MIMIKAMA

And no, contrary to the description, that stream is not free, you have to take out an expensive membership after a few seconds of the film (it's unclear whether you'll actually get to see the film, but the illegal streamers already have your credit card details).

3. Even though Dwayne Johnson is certainly quite wealthy, he can't give away millions of dollars every day.

Conclusion

No, Dwayne Johnson doesn't give away hundreds of thousands of dollars an hour. It is a fake account that is out to collect data!
