On Monday (December 19, 2016) it was reported to the Diez police that a man was once again visiting homeowners on Schlesier Strasse in Diez.
The man, aged around 50 to 55, is around 170 cm tall, has a strong build and has short blonde hair. He speaks German without a noticeable accent and is trying to sell television contracts to a large telecommunications company.
The man had previously announced himself by telephone. Corresponding research showed that no employees were currently assigned to such activities. In this context, the police advise appropriate caution and attention when engaging in these door-to-door transactions.
