In Frankfurt am Main, counterfeit money was circulated at the Christmas market. The police are investigating a man who paid for a foam kiss with a counterfeit 20 euro note.
A previously unknown man used a counterfeit 20 euro note to pay for a foam kiss at the Christmas market (Paulsplatz area) at 6:30 p.m. yesterday.
It was only afterwards that the saleswoman noticed that the note was obviously not real.
By this point she had already given the buyer change and he had disappeared into the crowd.
