Following a tip-off about an explosive device placed in a high school on Ebellstrasse, the police evacuated and searched the school today, August 5, 2016.
Neither a bomb was found nor was there any danger to those present.
An anonymous whistleblower called the police emergency number around 12:45 p.m. and said that someone had told her that he had planted a bomb at school.
After the evacuation, which affected a total of around 1,000 people - many of whom had already been outside the building after school ended - a sniffer dog searched the area. No explosive device was found.
