Stein – On Friday afternoon a dispute in Oberasbach (district of Fürth) escalated. After a 56-year-old woman was pushed onto the road and injured, the Stein police station is looking for witnesses to the incident.

At around 3:00 p.m., the 56-year-old got into an argument with a 29-year-old passer-by on Rothenburger Strasse near an ice cream parlor. Already at this point there were insults against the woman. When the 56-year-old wanted to take a photo of the man, who was unknown to her, with her smartphone for the intended filing of an advertisement, the man took the phone away from her and threw it to the ground. He then pushed the woman onto the road on Rothenburger Strasse. A car driving past had to avoid the woman lying on the road. The 56-year-old suffered injuries that were treated at a hospital.

The 29-year-old suspect was caught by a patrol crew from the Zirndorf police station shortly afterwards in the Wiesengrund area north of Bruckwiesenstrasse. The suspect resisted the officers, but was overpowered and arrested.

The Stein police station initiated a corresponding investigation and is now looking for further witnesses to the incident. They can contact the police on 0911 967824-0. In this context, the officers are particularly asking the driver of the car, who had to avoid the woman who hit the road, to make himself available as a witness.
