A 30-year-old woman from Germersheim is blackmailed by a man the same age
The woman met the man online and transferred him a considerable sum of money because the man pretended to be in an emergency.
She ended up sending the man nude photos.
The man now threatened to publish the photos on the Internet unless the woman paid him a four-figure sum of money.
The police have opened an investigation into blackmail and warn against being tempted by perceived emergencies to transfer money and, in particular, against sending intimate photos to people you hardly know.
