Hildesheim - Yesterday morning, August 31, 2017, an 11-year-old boy said he was approached by a previously unknown man who was said to be riding a bicycle on his way to school near St. Godehard Church around 7:45 a.m.

The stranger said he wanted to show him, the boy, something that he had lying in his car.
That's why he should come with him. At this point, a woman pushing a stroller passed the 11-year-old and the strange man.
This woman, the boy thinks, must have seen him and the stranger. Since the 11-year-old felt harassed by the man, he ran away and confided in a passerby. He described what had happened to him, whereupon she accompanied the boy to a nearby coffee shop on Kalenberger Graben. From here the police were contacted and they took up the matter.

To shed light on the matter, the police are asking possible witnesses who were at the Godehardi Church at the time of the incident and who made suspicious observations to call 05121-939115.
This particularly applies to the woman who is said to have been traveling with the stroller.
