All day long we have been receiving inquiries about “THE RIDDLE”, which has already been posted on Facebook throughout the day.

For those who don't know what it's about, here's the task given to students in Singapore.

posted by television presenter Kenneth Kong. He wrote that this was a task for the eleven-year-olds there and that this puzzle even drove the adults to despair.

What is the task about?

Albert and Bernhard met Cheryl. They want to know when Cherly's birthday is. Cherly herself now provides 10 dates:

May 15th, May 16th, May 19th.
June 17th and June 18th
July 14th and July 16th.
August 14th, August 15th, August 17th.

Cherly reveals the MONTH and then passes this information on SEPARATELY (the day to one, the month to the other) to Albert and Bernhard.

Albert: I don't know when Cheryl's birthday is, but what I do know is that Bernhard doesn't know either.

Bernhard: At first I didn't know when Cheryl's birthday was. But now I know.

Albert: Then I now also know when Cheryl's birthday is.

So what is the correct date?

We don't know, even if we try seven times to understand and understand it. The explanation itself is also annoying.

For those who also find it annoying and can't find the solution, we'll simply announce the solution now (Phew - you spoilsport)

It's July 16th

Now how do we know this?
