The Facebook page “E-Bikes Germany” claims to have to close due to the corona crisis. The status post says: “However, we would like to give away our remaining 25 e-bikes to you!” But be careful! It is a fake site that has nothing to do with any real company.

The competition is just an excuse. There is no proper imprint or information about the organizer. This is currently the competition here, which can be found behind this URL: https://www.facebook.com/E-Bikes-Deutschland-111310023885901/

The site has only existed since April 21, 2020 and the competition is the only entry.

In the end it's about your personal data and data brings money!

Unfortunately, the actual purpose of these sites is limited to one thing: collecting data, selling magazine subscriptions and sending spam emails!

Even if you take part and think to yourself “Oh, if I play along, it won’t hurt anyone” – data always brings money and these sites will continue to exist in the future.
