This new scam in online trading is being used more and more frequently. This puts your credit card details at risk.

In this method of fraud, it is not the seller but the buyer who is the perpetrator.
The police estimate the number of unreported cases of credit garden data fraud to be high. So that you can protect yourself, we describe the process here. For example, a seller places an advertisement online on eBay classifieds and provides his or her mobile phone number to contact the seller.
Shortly afterwards, he receives a WhatsApp message from a supposedly interested buyer after making initial contact via WhatsApp and sends him a link under which he should enter the details of his debit or credit card to process the sale. After entering the data, the page with the link can no longer be accessed and the fraudsters are in possession of the seller's card details.
The money transfers all went to Eastern European countries, so a chargeback was not possible.
