A Google search for World War III actually shows a specific date. A leak from the “secret world rulers” or something else?

Followers of conspiracy myths assume that the world is not really chaotic, but that everything is planned - even the Third World War. If you believe Google, this should last from 2026 to 2053. You can try it yourself!

You will see this result if you type “ when was the third world war ” into Google:

Since a Google search is often referred to as research in certain circles (“ Google it yourself! ”), for some people it is enough that everything is planned – including the Third World War.

What's really behind it

You have probably already tried this and had the same result as us. You will also definitely see Wikipedia as the first linked article. And even without clicking on the article, it's worth taking a closer look:

So while at first glance it looks as if Google and Wikipedia are confirming that the Third World War will take place in a few years, there is something else behind it. In the screenshot above we have already circled what it boils down to: World War III in the media!

Let's just take a look at the Wikipedia article!

The dates of the Third World War in Wikipedia

“In the Star Trek universe, World War III takes place from 2026 to 2053 between some of the former Western powers, the Eastern Coalition of Nations and numerous other dynamically changing alliances of states.”

So it is a fictional date from the fictional Star Trek universe (formerly in German: “Star Trek”).

And why does Google show this?
Because that's how Google works! When a question is entered into the Google search engine, Google looks for the answer in the most read articles, in this case a Wikipedia article. The date from the Star Trek universe is the only concrete information in the Wikipedia article, so Google takes this data as an answer.

Conclusion

Google's artificial intelligence didn't understand that it was a fictitious date from a fictitious series, not a real, historical event.

Also interesting:
The Third World War is repeatedly predicted by conspiracy mythists, for example in 2016 by the US nationalist and Holocaust denier Hal Turner.
