Are we really seeing the environmental activist during a target practice?
In a short video clip you can see a young woman. At first glance she seems familiar: Is that Greta Thunberg lying on the ground and shooting a rifle?
Some commentators are quite sure that this is the Swede and sarcastically note “With a scope so nothing is wasted. Environmentally friendly because less ammunition is used, and this type of shooting slows breathing, which helps the environment.”

Is that really Greta Thunberg?
Do we see the activist here during a shooting exercise? The answer is quite simple: no . This is not Greta Thunberg. In the short video we see a woman who can be found on Twitter under the account “Emmy ಠ_ಠ”.
Emmy is also Swedish and the original video was published on December 7, 2019 ( see here ). Excitingly, her Twitter account now has fact checks from various international fact checkers proving that the video is not about Greta Thunberg.

The owner of the account also confirmed to various fact checkers that she appears in the video. The French colleagues from “Info ou Intox? – France 24″, for example, published an excerpt from the chat history:

By the way, so that you can't immediately notice that it's not Greta Thunberg, Emmy's original video was shortened because you can clearly see her face in the last seconds.
Emmy obviously takes it with humor. When asked by a Brazilian newspaper, she said “Apparently we are similar, but I am 15 years older” ( compare ).
