Facebook posts about the influence of flu vaccinations on the coronavirus are causing uncertainty.

There are currently warnings circulating that the flu vaccination in children will trigger a second corona wave.

“IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION: How a second wave should now be brought about through our children!
There is currently a large child flu vaccination campaign in the state media, and the doctors are also being instructed accordingly due to the compulsory recommendation of the medical association.
In children, vaccinations are given as nasal sprays.
According to the RKI, the current vaccine is intended to protect against the H1N1 and H3N2 viruses, among other things. The side effects can include fever, headache and body aches.
As soon as your children experience these side effects, a Corona PCR test will be mandatory!
Since the PCR test is not validated, cross-reactions with the vaccine are inevitable! Countless false positive results with harsh measures, contact with other children creates a domino effect!”

“Children should be vaccinated against flu.
If you go to the RKI website you will find the composition of the current vaccination. This contains, among other things, H1N1. H1N1 is a coronavirus. This vaccination should be given via spray into the nose. At the same time, nasal swabs with PCR tests are carried out. MANDATORY AS WE KNOW – WHAT WILL YOU FIND THERE!!!!! Now we can put two and two together to see how they will justify their second wave... About our children... If you have the opportunity to pass this on to editorial teams, clubs, people with influence - DO THIS!!!!! URGENT!!!!"

Flu vaccination for prevention

Pediatricians have called for children to also be vaccinated against flu. These are preventative measures.

Arne Simon, pediatrician at Saarland University Hospital and second chairman of the German Society for Pediatric Infectious Diseases, explains: “We have known for a long time that children play a key role in transmitting the flu virus. The health system will find it difficult to cope with a major flu wave and the pandemic.”

The WHO recommends the flu vaccination for children from six months of age - the USA and Scandinavia are already following this recommendation. On the other hand, the German Standing Vaccination Commission (StiKo) that only children with underlying or previous illnesses should be regularly vaccinated against the flu.

The flu vaccination in children is done either by injecting half the adult dose of an inactivated vaccine or by nasal spray.

According to Arne Simon, the flu vaccination is very well tolerated.
Only a few vaccinated people have mild cold symptoms. He further explains that no doctor would therefore carry out a corona test. Especially if they know about the previous vaccination. The Robert Koch Institute's test criteria also do not provide for a corona test after a flu vaccination.

Corona test does not react to the H1N1 flu pathogen

By the way, H1N1 is not a corona virus, but an influenza virus. If a corona test is carried out, it does not react to flu pathogens such as H1N1, explains Matthias Stoll, immunologist at the Hannover Medical School.

These two groups of pathogens have different structures and have a specific genome. A corona test (PCR) uses “primers” to search for gene sequences that are only found in SARS-CoV-2 viruses, but not in influenza viruses. These are indicated by the primers.

Conclusion

The flu vaccination in children has no influence on “2. Corona wave”. It is merely a precautionary measure to protect the health system from a strong flu wave in addition to the corona pandemic and thus not to overload it.

Corona tests also do not react to flu pathogens such as H1N1, which is an influenza virus and is significantly different from SARS-CoV-2 viruses.
