IBM is the next major IT provider to exit the Russian market. CEO Arvind Krishna made this clear in a blog entry on Monday, March 7, 2022.

First, after the Russian invasion of Ukraine, IBM announced that it would comply with Western sanctions. In a second step, the company announced that it would stop sales and not do business with the Russian military. ( source ) ( source )

Other tech companies no longer supply Russia

Apple is also suspending sales of all products in Russia. iPhones, iPads or Macs are no longer sold. Likewise, Microsoft has discontinued its products and services in Russia.

The software companies Oracle and SAP have also stopped their activities in Russia. The streaming services of Netflix and Spotify have also been discontinued. Samsung has announced that it will stop all product deliveries to Russia and Intel is also one of the companies that will no longer deliver to Russia. ( Source )
