The Bremen police searched the apartment of the employee of a Bremen doctor's office this week. The 29-year-old is strongly suspected of having produced and distributed fake vaccination certificates.
The woman from Bremen worked in a group practice in Findorff and had access to vaccination doses, stickers with batch numbers and blank vaccination certificates.
The investigators received a tip that the 29-year-old woman was forging and selling vaccination certificates in her apartment. A search warrant was obtained from the district court through the Bremen public prosecutor's office and executed on Wednesday.
The emergency services found what they were looking for and confiscated 14 blank vaccination books, 74 batch stickers, three vaccination books that had already been forged and three stamps that were stolen from the practice in autumn 2021. The police officers were also able to secure two vaccination certificates issued in their name. Further investigations into, among other things, theft and commercial forgery of documents are ongoing. The Bremen police are currently investigating 185 cases of fake vaccination passports.
