Unfortunately, there is once again a fight for lots of “likes” on Facebook and every means is used to get as many “likes”. As is often the case, pictures are stolen from the Internet for such “actions” in which they are babies or children who either have a birth defect or, as in this case, were allegedly shot by their stepfather. Such pictures simply don't belong on Facebook and it doesn't help if the creator of the status post writes: “Please Don't Ignore! He badly needs your prayers”. This publication also promotes the whole thing. Conducting research in this direction is not always very easy. In this case too, we have been trying for hours to research where the picture came from or who the girl in the photo is and how she is doing today.

This is what this photo is about. It was posted on Facebook in April 2013.

PLEASE READ!!!! SHOCKING!!!!

14 YEAR OLD BOY WAS SHOT 6 TIMES BY HIS STEPFATHER. THIS BOY WAS PROTECTING HIS LITTLE 6 YEAR OLD SISTER WHO WAS ABOUT TO BE RAPED BY THIS POOR…EXCUSE OF A MAN. THE LITTLE GIRL DID NOT GET HURT, THANKS TO HER BRAVE OLDER BROTHER. THEIR MOM WAS AT WORK WHEN THIS HAPPENED. NOW THIS BRAVE YOUNG LITTLE BOY IS FIGHTING FOR HIS LIFE, BUT DOCTORS SAY HE WILL NOT SURVIVE UNLESS HE GETS AN OPERATION WHICH IS COSTLY AND HIS MOM CANNOT PAY. ALL FACE BOOK COMPANIES HAVE AGREED TO DONATE 45 CENTS FOR EVERY TIME SOMEONE POSTS THIS TO THEIR WALL .SO , PLEASE SHARE THIS ON YOUR WALL . SO THAT TOGETHER WE CAN HELP SAVE THIS BOYS LIFE. I PASSED THIS MESSAGE DOWN.

Please Don't Ignore! He badly needs your prayers

It says here that a 14-year-old boy was shot 6 times by his stepfather and that it was agreed with Facebook that 45 cents would be paid for a necessary operation (per “division”).

This is just a tall tale again!

Our research revealed the following:

The picture shows a 7-year-old Lebanese boy who was injured in an Israeli airstrike in 2006.
The picture was taken on July 17, 2006 in the hospital in Saida.

ZDDK info!
On this page there are other, not very nice pictures of injured people that you shouldn't actually look at.

THE CREATORS OF SUCH STATUS POSTS ARE ONLY ABOUT SELF-PROMOTION!

Such users/creators want to draw attention to themselves and the bad thing is that other Facebook users join in.

OUR URGENT APPEAL IF YOU SEE SUCH PICTURES ON FACEBOOK:

Do NOT share these tall tales, which are hard to beat in terms of tastelessness and contempt for humanity! Don't fall for it if someone tries to tell you, no matter how disingenuously and compassionately, that with just one click one of the children shown (including animals that are "liked" to be shown once) would be even a little bit better off or that they would receive financial support as a result. Helping those who are suffering certainly requires more than a simple click, no matter how temptingly simple it is.

The authors of this blatant rubbish are just looking for likes (“Booah, I already have 11,000 likes” or something similar) and enjoy it when what they see as “stupid people” play into their hands and get in their way through uncritical sharing go. Please report the images as “graphic violence” and help make Facebook a little cleaner. Don't let yourself be exploited. Remain critical and question, even if the images shown are so close. This is part of the spammers' method.

Thank you for your help!
