Recently, an increasing number of debt collection letters from supposed debt collection companies have been landing in consumers' mailboxes. Now it is EXPERT KASSE AG from Berlin.

Writing with fraudulent intent

The subject “Last out-of-court reminder” is used to persuade the consumers addressed that they have concluded a paid competition or magazine contract by providing their personal data. However, the monthly amounts have not yet been paid.

In the event of non-payment, the consumer is threatened with a reminder and enforcement notice, local bailiff, seizure of earnings and compulsory enforcement, and much more.

You have received such a letter, what now?

If you have received a letter like this:

  • Don't pay! The money should be paid into a Greek account (IBAN GR).
  • Do not write back or send back the attached cancellation form!
  • Do not call any of the telephone numbers provided! (Great Britain area code)
