First Facebook, now Instagram – an old fake is currently presenting itself in a completely new way.
A few days ago we reported on a nasty fake that stars had also shared on Instagram . Now he's back again!
Or at least parts of him... as a story he now continues to wreak havoc on the popular social media platform. The image contains German text and a red @instagram banner placed over another green banner. This is what the whole thing looks like:
NOTE: Instagram is now a public site. All members must post a note like this. If you do not post such a statement, you allow the use of your photos as well as the information, including profile status updates. INSTAGRAM DOES NOT HAVE MY PERMISSION TO DISTRIBUTE PHOTOS OR MESSAGES.”
A little fact check:
As already mentioned, we already know about this fake and not just because stars like Pink shared it.
claim has been circulating on Facebook for years ! Even three years ago, this text made very little sense - but this story works even less for Instagram!
There is no “share” function in this sense on Instagram. Furthermore, the pictures are public anyway unless the entire profile has been set to “private”.
Then as now it is a fake. Even if it presents itself in a new look and has moved from Facebook to Instagram.
