A 32-year-old woman was found by a walker in a forest near Friedrichstal with serious injuries and unresponsive.

According to the criminal police's findings so far, the young woman, whose identity was not initially clear, was the victim of a violent act.

The 32-year-old suffered life-threatening injuries and is in a Karlsruhe clinic. Her condition is currently stable.

The walker and his dog found the victim this Saturday, around 8:40 a.m. in Gewann Huckelblöße on the edge of a forest path that branches off from State Road 558 in the direction of Linkenheim-Hochstetten, a few hundred meters after the Friedrichstal exit.

Further details and background information about what happened are currently the subject of intensive investigations by the public prosecutor's office and the criminal police, in which an investigative group has been set up.
