The Swiss trading company Migros is now reportedly adding a cat meat burger to its range.

This is what it says according to the Basler Bote from September 21, 2017 [ 1 ]. This is a reaction to the insect burger that competitor Coop added to its range in summer 2017. By the way, this is not a fake: since crickets, grasshoppers and mealworms can be sold for consumption in Switzerland, you can actually find this insect burger on the shelves of the Coop supermarket chain [ 2 ].
But what's the deal with cats? Is Migros really taking the fast lane? “The meat product should be available on the shelves of larger stores from the week after next.” You can read it at the Basler Boten.

One can be quite sure that ALF would repair his UFO in order to move away from the Tanners directly to Switzerland. But ALF would be upset in the end because the flight would be free.

All satire

Mimikama rule 2 : please always look at WHO is writing. A look at the imprint or the “about me” part of a website is incredibly helpful. This is also the case here, because the Basler Bote offers an FAQ .
There you read: Is what is written in the Basler Bote correct?

  • Definitely not.

Can we still believe it?

  • Very gladly.

OK all clear!
