On December 25th and 26th 2016, Storm Conor reached the Scottish Islands including Okney and Shetland. Ryan Sandison takes impressive photos of monster waves.

The 14 meter high wave hit the coast of Eshanee in the Shetland Islands and was held by Ryan Sandison.

After Storm Barbara left over 1,000 homes in Northern Ireland without power and took down half of the school roof on December 20, 2016, Storm Conor reached Okney and Shetland three days later with gusts of 137 km/h.

A severe weather warning from the local weather office informed about the upcoming storm.
