If a status post is shared thousands of times on Facebook, many users suspect that it might be fake. But that is not the case in this case!
This is the status post:
„Dear customers and concerned fellow citizens,
In the last few days we have received many emails from you about operations in the Hambacher Forest.
We would like to emphasize once again that we only rented the equipment and that we were not informed in any way in advance by our customer (our customer is NOT the police) about what he would be using the work platforms for."
It is also stated that the Gerken company, whose equipment is used for the clearances in the Hambacher Forest, will shut it down, even though they are legally not allowed to do this and therefore have to expect high recourse claims.
Because of that screenshot, we received a lot of inquiries as to whether this was true, as it seemed impossible to imagine that a company would simply pass up such a large order.
